Mission and Vision Statement

Mission Statement

The OCPM Foundation will strive to attain net investment assets of $50 million. It will be diligent in maintaining knowledge and awareness of, and involvement in the political, economic, and health care environment as they relate to podiatric medical education. It will have assembled adequate funding, and other assets and resources with which to readily reinstitute a college of podiatric medical education in Northeast Ohio, should the need arise.

Vision Statement

The OCPM Foundation has three primary purposes —

• Be prepared to reinstitute a college of podiatric education in Northeast Ohio should Kent State University ever drop the current academic program offering of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.
• Successfully manage and grow the financial assets of the Foundation.
• Utilize a portion of the investment earnings to fund grant proposals in support of podiatric education in the immediate geographical area.
